Connie Cheng is a rising junior in Cabot House from Milpitas, California. She studies economics and serves as a student officer of the Phillips Brooks House Association. She tutors Chinese immigrants preparing for their naturalization exam with PBHA's Chinatown Citizenship, in addition to volunteering with the Chinatown Afterschool and Leaders Mentoring programs. Her work in Boston's Chinatown drives her interests in immigrant rights and community organizing. This summer, she is excited to explore her interests from a policy perspective at the National Partnership for New Americans, where she hopes to learn more about the integration of service and advocacy.
