Cole Edick is a rising senior in Adams House from Omaha, Nebraska. Studying Anthropology with a secondary field in Theater, Dance and Media, he will be writing his senior thesis on the politics and culture of alternative journalism in Boston. Cole was a research assistant at the IOP last summer and has also been a member of the CIVICS, Education Policy, and the Campaigns and Advocacy Programs at the IOP. However, he spends most of his time on campus making theater as an active member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club. He is also a staff writer for the Harvard International Review and a member of the Crimson Key Society. Cole is looking forward to a full summer in the Office of Public Affairs at the Department of Energy, where he will learn more about media and communications by working in press, digital media, and speechwriting.
