Colby Stapleton is a rising junior in Leverett House from Northern California. She is concentrating in Government, with a secondary field in Economics. On campus she is an active member of the Phillips Brooks House Association; participating in the Mission Hill Afterschool Program, HARTZ and the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. Additionally, she is involved with the IOP’s Women’s Initiative in Leadership, and Harvard’s Women in Business. Colby has always had a strong interest in government, and is very excited to work in Congressman Joe Kennedy’s office. She hopes this internship will provide her with a glimpse into the daily work of a Congressman and further spark her interest in public service.
