Carolyn Ye is a rising senior at Harvard University studying Human Evolutionary Biology with a focus on the evolution of social behaviors. Born in Virginia, she lived in Texas before coming to college. Interested in international affairs and diplomacy, Carolyn serves as the Under-Secretary-General of Finance and Operations for Harvard World Model United Nations, an international Model UN conference hosted in a different city each year. She is also a member of the leadership team of the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum in the IOP. Carolyn is interested in the intersection of education and the life sciences, and she looks forward to working with KIPP NYC this summer to explore the applicability of modern research breakthroughs in the classroom.
