Victory Institute, Washington DC
2014

Brianna Suslovic is a rising junior in Winthrop House, originally from Syracuse, NY. She is concentrating in Social Anthropology and Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality, with a Spanish citation. On campus, she is involved with International Women's Rights Collective and Queer Students and Allies, and she is currently an intern at the Harvard College Women's Center. She also serves on the leadership board for the annual pan-Ivy League queer conference IvyQ. With several peers, she initiated a successful campaign to universalize gender neutral housing options on campus for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a queer feminist of color, Brianna is excited to work with the Victory Fund in Washington, DC this summer, to learn from them and assist them in their efforts to promote and support out LGBTQ+ legislators.
