Ben Palmer is a rising sophomore in Adams House, originally from Deerfield, IL. He intends to concentrate in Applied Math, Statistics, or Economics. He enjoys playing percussion with The Harvard Undergraduate Drummers (THUD) and his steel pan drum with Music in Hospitals and Nursing Homes Using Entertainment as Therapy (MIHNUET). During spring semester 2017, Ben participated in former Congressman Chris Shays' Study Group at the IOP. Ben looks forward to participating in Adams House Intramural Sports and to attending additional IOP study groups next semester. Ben is thrilled to spend the summer serving the great City of Chicago in the Office of the City Clerk.
