Ava Zhang

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)-Office of the Secretary General, Paris France
2014

Ava Zhang is a rising junior in Eliot House, who hails from the wintry depths of Toronto, Canada. She is concentrating in Psychology with a secondary in Government. On campus, Ava is a peer counselor with Sexual Health and Relationship Counselors, an editor on the Harvard International Review, and a volunteer advocate for Health Leads. She also works as a research assistant in Professor Dan Gilbert's psychology lab, where she's investigating the emotional impact of inequity in resource allocations. She is incredibly excited to be heading to Paris this summer as an intern in the Office of the Secretary General of the OECD. As someone who is interested in international policy, Ava is eager to learn about how we can craft multilateral initiatives to tackle the most common and pressing problems that the world faces today.
