Ava Ganik is a rising sophomore in Adams House and a prospective concentrator in Computer Science with a possible language citation in French. Born in New York, she grew up in Prague, Czech Republic before attending high school in the UK and in Harrison, New York. At Harvard, she is on the education committee of Women in Computer Science and is a member of Harvard Model United Nations. Prior to coming to Harvard, she interned at the Neuroimmunological Disease Unit at the NIH. She is particularly interested in the intersection between technology and public policy and looks forward to interning at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Technology and Innovation.
