Andres de Loera-Brust is a rising Junior in Eliot House studying Economics with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. He is proudly from Davis California in the Sacramento Valley. On campus, he is an active member of the Institute of Politics, serving as a commission chair for the Policy Program and the director of Cambridge debates for the Harvard Political Union. He also participates in research and advocacy around electoral reform through Harvard Undergraduate Voters Choose and mentors middle and high schoolers in debate through the Harvard College Mentors for Urban Debate. In addition to extracurriculars, Andres has been a Research Assistant at the Graduate School of Education for the past year. This summer he will be working at the Brookings Institution's Center for Health Policy in an internship cosponsored by the Harvard Global Health Institute. He looks forward to learning a lot and exploring the great city of Washington DC!
