2015

Amalia Salcedo-Marx is a rising junior in Mather house concentrating in History and Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Although she's been interested in policy and health systems all her life, at the moment, she's particularly passionate about mental health and gender issues. Outside of class, she's involved with Partners In Health on campus, loves to sketch and journal, and moonlights as a librarian at Widener library. A Cambridge, Massachusetts local with family in Ecuador and Cuba, she is excited to be going to Peru this summer to gain experience working with TB patients and mental health with Socios en Salud Sucursal.
