Allyson Perez is a rising Junior (2017) in Quincy House concentrating in Social Studies from Raleigh, North Carolina.  Academically, she is interested in US and Latin American politics, as well as food policy.  Outside of classes, she is an active member of the Harvard Public Opinion Project and the Food Literacy Project, and also participates in the Harvard Political Union.  She is also a 2015 Delegate to US-Mexico FoCUS, a program designed to unite the best and brightest students in the US and Mexico to brainstorm ways to bring our countries closer together.  Additionally, she has worked on campaigns and in civil society in both the US and in Mexico in the past, focusing on data analysis and outreach to marginalized groups.  She is very much looking forward to working for SocialSphere in Cambridge, MA this summer, and can’t wait to learn about social media and big data from the incredible people at this firm.
