Allison Toledo is a rising sophomore in Quincy House at Harvard, intending to study Government or Social Studies. Originally from Hillsdale, New Jersey, Allison is heavily involved in the International Relations Council at Harvard, serving as a deputy director of the traveling Model United Nations team, a director at the college Model UN conferences in Boston and Latin America, and a director at the high school Model UN conferences in Boston and China. She has served as a liaison for IOP Spring 2016 Fellow Mayor Annise Parker and teaches weekly classes to Boston-area high school students about international relations. Outside of politics and international affairs, Allison is the choreographer and co-business manager of the acappella group the Harvard Lowkeys and a director of Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business’ Innovation Competition. She is thrilled to be working at the National Democratic Institute in D.C. this summer, where she will be exploring and understanding how political parties contribute to a democratic society.
