Ali Hakim is a rising junior from the greater Detroit area. He studies economics with a secondary field in government and is also working toward a language citation in Arabic. Outside of class, Ali spends the majority of his time writing, editing, and brainstorming for the Harvard Political Review and conducting research on international philanthropic trends at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He also serves as a member of the Harvard Student Agencies' finance committee. This summer, he looks forward to doing economic policy work at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
