Alexandra Phillips is a rising junior at Harvard College, concentrating in Applied Mathematics with a focus in Economics and Urban Planning. She spent last summer conducting research in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the Securities and Exchange Commission. At Harvard, Alexandra is a healthcare analyst for the Smart Woman Securities’ portfolio, directs the investment education program, and writes for the Harvard International Review. This summer, Alexandra will be interning at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of Debt Management. She is excited to learn about the federal financial system and the use of quantitative methods in public policy.
