AJ Protin is a rising senior in Leverett house, studying History and Science with a secondary in African and African American Studies. In the summer after his freshman year, AJ began working at the Phillips Brooks House Association's Mission Hill Summer Program as a senior counselor for a class of ten low-income boston youth. The following summer, AJ returned to direct the program, overseeing the remarkable talents of 80 children ages 6-13 and 20 staff. He will return for a second summer as a director in 2015, thanks to the support of the IOP.
