Abigail Simon is a rising senior living in Pforzheimer House, originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She is pursuing a concentration in Social Studies and a possible secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. On campus, Abigail is the teacher development chair for Harvard CIVICS (a civic education program for fifth grade Boston Public School students) and a senior staffer for Harvard Model Congress. She developed a deep interest in journalism when writing for the Harvard Crimson; she is currently an executive editor of the magazine, Fifteen Minutes. She's excited to combine her interests in politics and reporting while at TIME Magazine in DC.
