2021 Intern Reflections:
I work closely with everyone at Health Action Alliance (HAA), handling tasks from social media management, proofing and drafting newsletters, to supporting team members with various campaigns throughout the summer. As someone who didn't have much experience in public health/service before, I've really enjoyed learning more about health policy and working with a team that is incredibly passionate about social impact. HAA is hands down one of the most inclusive and supportive work environments I've been in. I feel very involved in the important projects I support, and it's made me feel like I'm really making a difference. Everyone has also made sure that I feel comfortable and safe pitching my own ideas even as a intern. Highly recommend to anyone interested in public health and social impact work, and you get to work with an amazing team that is invested in your growth and learning as a student!
