ABOUT US: Health Action Alliance unlocks the power of business to accelerate the Covid-19 response, strengthen vaccine acceptance and rebuild public health. Launching in February, the Health Action Alliance is founded by the Ad Council, Business Roundtable, CDC Foundation, de Beaumont Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and run by Meteorite, the team behind the Civic Alliance.

Health Action Alliance will provide open-source communications, best practices, training sessions, town hall events, and tailored support to ensure that companies have the trusted guidance necessary to effectively support their employees, consumers, and communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & PROJECTS: This position will play a critical role in developing content for companies including toolkits, social media posts, and newsletters. Further, you will help us develop the strategy for engaging representatives of our member companies in regular virtual events, helping to plan and execute the dynamic sessions. You'll have exposure to our full team as well as many participating companies, including several Fortune 500 brands, as we support their nonpartisan civic programs.

  • Strong writing and research skills. 
  • Please be familiar (or ready to get familiar) with Slack, Zoom, Google Drive/Docs, and be comfortable building decks.

REMOTE WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our team is fully remote -- so you'll fit right in! We make active use of Zoom, Slack and Google Drive, which enable real time collaboration. You'll be invited to our regular team meetings and have a weekly 1:1 with your team lead -- and we'll set up individual meetings with each member of our team throughout the internship so you can get to know everyone.

TIME ZONE: Pacific

WORKING HOURS: PT or MT is preferable, but we are open to ET or CT
