Senator Pat Toomey ’84 (R-PA) served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999-2005 and the U.S. Senate from 2011-2023. As a senator, he served as ranking member of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and chairman of the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection. He also served on the Committee on the Budget, the Committee on Finance, and the Joint Economic Committee.
This conversation will be moderated by Karen Dynan, a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Economics at Harvard University and Harvard Kennedy School. Dynan served as Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy and Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 2014 to 2017.
