Dr. Julia G. Brody, Executive Director of the Silent Spring Institute; Professor Sheila Jasanoff, Pforzheimer Professor of Science & Technology Studies at HKS; and Florence Williams, author of Breasts: A Natural and Unnatural History, participated in a panel discussion that explored the relationship between environmental toxics and breast cancer. The conversation also widely explored women’s public health since the publication of Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring. This Forum event included remarks from Teresa Heinz, Rachel Carson Award Honoree. Trey Grayson, Director of the Institute of Politics, moderated the Forum.
