Can technology foster inclusivity, bring about constructive dialogue, and strengthen democracy – or will it further divide our country? On Monday, April 11, 2022, the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum hosts Silicon Valley Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA), who will offer remarks, followed by responses from Professors Amartya Sen and Michael Sandel on the practical and ethical implications of technological developments and their impact on the economy, democracy, and progressive policies.

Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) serves as deputy whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and was a co-chair of Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential campaign. Nobel laureate economist Amartya Sen is the Thomas W. Lamont University Professor and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University. Michael Sandel is the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government at Harvard University.
