With the coming of Yom HaShoah, the annual commemoration of the Holocaust, many may feel far from the promise of “Never Again” as ongoing anti-Semitism and widespread hate continue to plague our country and world. In the face of this, we look for examples of hope and resilience: toward thought leaders and public servants whose Jewish identities inspired them toward and have sustained them through the challenges and opportunities of political work and social action.

Join us on Wednesday, April 7th at 6:00pm ET for a discussion on Jewish identity in public service with Congresswoman Sara Jacobs (D-CA-53) and author, head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama, and IOP Resident Fellow, S'17, Sarah Hurwitz ’99 JD’04.  The event will be co-sponsored by Harvard Hillel, and moderated by Sabrina Goldfischer ’23, IOP Student Communications Director and Harvard Hillel Student President, and Rabbi Jenn Queen, Reform Rabbi and Director of Engagement at Harvard Hillel.

RSVP here to join the conversation in the JFK Jr. Forum.
