Former Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Anson Chan joined Daewoo Professor of International Affairs Anthony Saich in at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum. Discussion centered around the recent conflicts between Hong Kong and Mainland China including the umbrella movement. Anson Chan proposed the difference in cultural, lifestyles, and ideologies of government officials in Mainland China and Hong Kong, and the lack of confidence of Hong Kong officials in those in Mainland.
