Senator Flake served in the House of Representatives for 12 years, and in the Senate for six. 

This was Senator Flake's first appearance in the Forum, and he spoke to his tenure as Arizona’s representative in the House and Senate and discussed his new endeavor to find ‘common ground’ among Americans in this next chapter of his career in public service. 

The conversation was co-hosted with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Democracy Entrepreneurship Conference and was moderated by Leah Wright Rigueur, Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
