Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. is the Director of the Voter Education Project for the Southern Regional Council. Previously, he served as an attorney-consultant for the U.S. Office of Economic Opportunity, Assistant to the Executive Director for the Southern Regional Council and was the Georgia Field Director for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Mr. Jordan also served on the national Advisory Commission on Selective Service and on the Council of the White House Conference, \To Fulfill These Rights\ in 1966.
