Thomas J. D'Amore, Jr. is chief of staff to the Governor of Connecticut. Prior to becoming Chief of Staff for Governor Weicker, he served as Chairman and Manager of Weicker's campaign for governor and then as Director of the Transition Office for Weicker. From 1983 to 1987 Mr. D'Amore was the Connecticut Republican Party Chairman and National Republican Committeeman. Mr. D'Amore served as Director of U.S. Senator Weicker's Connecticut Field Staff and was campaign manager of Senator Weicker's re-election campaign. From 1968 to 1975, Mr. D'Amore worked in various positions for Governor Thomas Meskill.
