Ronald Walters

Ronald Walters is Professor of Political Science at Howard University. Dr. Walters previously was an assistant professor at Syracuse University and Brandeis University before moving to Howard University in 1971. In 1975, he became Director of the Social Science Research Center at the Institute for Urban Affairs and Research at Howard and a full professor in 1979. Dr. Walters has served as a Senior Foreign Affairs Consultant for Congressman Charles Diggs, Congressman William Gray, and as a Consultant for the Special Committee Against Apartheid at the United Nations. He has published over 80 articles and 4 research monographs on the subjects of African Affairs and American Black Politics.
