Robert Shrum

Robert M. Shrum is Special Assistant and Chief Speechwriter for Senator George McGovern. Previously, Mr. Shrum served as Special Assistant and Director of Speechwriting for the Residential Campaign of Senator Muskie and as Special Assistant to the Mayor of New York City. He was Director of Debate from 1967 to 1968 and Director of Forensics and Instructor at Boston College from 1968 to 1970, after having served as Director of Debate at Brandeis University for two years.
