Paul R. Soglin

Paul R. Soglin is currently practicing law after having spent the last ten years holding public office. In 1968, while a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, he was elected to the Madison Common Council and subsequently re-elevated in 1970 and 1972. In 1973, Mr. Soglin was elevated to the first of three terms as mayor of Madison. During this same period, Mr. Soglin served on the Community Development and Housing Committee of the United States Conference of Mayors and was a co-founder of the Conference on Alternative State and Local Policies.
