P. Michael Pitfield serves as Clerk of the Privy Council and Principal Secretary to the Canadian Cabinet. Previously, Mr. Pitfield served as Deputy Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs, Senior Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet and Deputy Clerk of the Privy Council, Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, and Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet for Federal Provincial relations, for External Affairs and Defense, and for Legislation and Parliamentary Affairs.
