Kenneth O. Hartnett is Managing Editor of The Boston Herald American, where he previously was executive city editor and deputy managing editor. Mr. Hartnett worked for The Boston Globe for eight years as chief of the urban teams, state house bureau chief and assistant to the Sunday editor. Previously, he worked for the Associated Press as a member of a special assignment team in Washington, with prime responsibility for covering the urban situation, anti-war movement and counter-culture.
