Jonathan Schell

Jonathan Schell is a staff writer for The New Yorker. Formerly, Mr. Schell was an editor at The New Yorker. He is also the author of five books, all of which were written as articles for The New Yorker first and appeared there in that form. In addition, Mr. Schell has been the chief contributor to the Notes and Comment section of the Talk of the Town in The New Yorker since 1969. Recently, he wrote \A better Today,\ the introduction to \Letter from Prison\, by the Polish Oppositionist activist Adam Michnik.
