John Marks
John Marks is a freelance writer and lecturer. He is the author of The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence and The Search for the \Manchurian Candidate\: The CIA and Mind Control. Previously, Mr. Marks was an associate of the center for National Security Studies, executive assistant for foreign policy to Senator Clifford Case (NJ) and a staff assistant to the Director for the Bureau of Intelligence and Research. Mr. Marks began his career as a foreign service officer in the State Department, then was loaned to the Agency for International Development before returning to State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research as an analyst for French and Belgian affairs.
