A veteran of over 400 political campaigns, Joe Slade White is recognized by consultants and candidates of both parties as one of the most creative television consultants in the country. White has served as Vice President Joe Biden’s media consultant for the last 22 years.
Joe Slade White has won more “Pollies” for excellence in television (called the “Oscars of politics” by Esquire Magazine) than any other consultant. At a recent Pollies ceremony, his peers named Joe Slade White as the “Democratic Strategist of the Year”.
White began his political career at 21 while a senior at Georgetown University, on the staff of Senator George McGovern’s 1972 Presidential campaign. His place on the presidential campaign’s traveling staff also earned him a spot as one of the youngest members of President Richard Nixon’s infamous “White House Enemies List.” White then served as Press Aide to Senator McGovern, before starting his own company at the age of 23.
White has appeared as a commentator on media and politics for CBS, CNN, MSNBC; in the New York Times and the Washington Post, and on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.”
