Edward Fouhy

Edward Fouhy was a producer, bureau chief and new executive for NBC News. He was most recently was the executive-in-charge of planning NBC's coverage of the 1988 presidential nominating process and was previously the executive producer of the prime time news magazine “1986” and its predecessor, “American Almanac.” Mr. Fouhy began his news career as a field producer covering the civil rights revolution in the South for CBS News and later was the CBS News bureau chief in Saigon at the height of the war. Upon returning to the U.S., Mr. Fouhy was the Washington producer of the CBS Evening News during Watergate, then Washington bureau chief and finally director of news for CBS News.
