Chuck Stone is senior editor and columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News. He is also a member of the National Board of Directors of the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund, a founding member and first president of the National Association of Black Journalists, a member of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists, and a contributing editor of “The Black Scholar” Magazine. Previously, Mr. Stone was Special Assistant to U.S. Representative Adam Clayton Powell, Chairman of the Education and Labor Committee and Education Research Specialist to U.S. Representative Robert Nix, Sr., Chairman of the Subcommittee on Postal Operations.
