BOBBY JINDAL was the Republican candidate for Governor of Louisiana in 2003. Prior to that, Jindal was appointed by President Bush to be the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation of Health and Human Services in 2001.

At the age of 31, Jindal has already served as the Secretary of Health and Hospitals for Louisiana, Executive Director of the National Bipartisan Commission of the Future of Medicare and the President of the University of Louisiana System, the 16th largest university system in the country. Jindal will be a Visiting Fellow at the IOP from February 23 to March 12.
