Join Fellow Joe Mitchell and Guest Amber Hulse, the youngest State Senator in South Dakota history, as she shares what it’s like to run for office—and win—as a Gen Z, conservative woman. Amber is currently an Associate at Dhillon Law Group and is the former Miss South Dakota and Miss South Dakota USA, one of only four women to hold both titles. Amber's dedication to service is unmatched, and she is committed to empowering women in leadership and advancing conservative values.

About Amber Hulse
Amber Hulse is a trailblazing Republican leader, budding attorney, and one of the youngest State Senators in South Dakota’s history. Raised on a hunting ranch in South Dakota by her Vietnam veteran father, her dedication to service and patriotism is deeply rooted.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of South Dakota and Georgetown Law, Amber led as President of the Federalist Society and gained political experience working in the first Trump White House. In law school, she served as a clerk to Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, Senator Josh Hawley, and Governor Kristi Noem. Her service to South Dakota runs deep: as Miss South Dakota 2019 and Miss South Dakota USA 2023, she became one of only four women to earn both titles.

Amber is committed to advancing conservative values, empowering women in leadership, and championing the next generation of conservative leaders.
