What should high school graduates know and be able to do to prepare them for success in life? How do we measure this? Should all students be expected to master academic standards? How do we hold schools accountable for results? Should there be a common national definition of proficiency? What does it mean to “fully fund” education? What role should parents play in public education? Why are some states lowering their expectations and what are the implications? Does merit matter? Breaking up the One Size Fits All approach to education is agreed upon, but there is great difference across states on what those myriad pathways look like. Explore these meaty topics with leaders who have been on the front lines.
