About Josh Helton
Josh Helton is an attorney and political advisor with extensive experience in national campaigns, legislative affairs, and corporate relations. He frequently serves as a senior advisor to high-level principals and excels in situations where politics, law, and business intersect.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Josh has served as legal and political counsel to national committees, congressional leadership, White House candidates, governors, and a U.S. ambassador. He also has a deep understanding of economic development and international trade policy.
Most recently, Josh played a central role in the 2024 election as an architect of the national election integrity program for President Donald J. Trump. Serving simultaneously as a senior advisor to the Republican National Committee, National Republican Senatorial Committee, and National Republican Congressional Committee, he helped design and implement the largest coordinated effort in modern U.S. political history to safeguard the electoral process. Josh oversaw the recruitment of thousands of lawyers and more than 230,000 volunteers, led a national staff of over 150, and coordinated the filing of more than 150 legal challenges to ensure transparency and accountability in all 50 states.
During the 2022 election cycle, Josh served as a senior advisor to the NRSC, his third cycle advising the committee. In 2020, he advised the Republican Party of Texas and the campaigns of U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Martha McSally, with a focus on ballot access, election day operations, and recount preparation.
Earlier in his career, Josh served under U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty during his tenure as Tennessee Commissioner of Economic and Community Development. As an assistant commissioner, Josh held a substantial portfolio including project management, corporate relations, legislative affairs, international trade policy, and business recruitment.
