Juan Manuel Santos Calderón, President of the Republic of Colombia, delivered a public address moderated by Jorge I. Domínguez, Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico.  His speech covered topics from inequality to educational reform in Colombia.  The President also responded to questions about guerrilla warfare and Colombia’s goals for peace in the near future.  The role of technology in economic and societal development was also discussed.
