Study Group with Steph Carlton: How Do We Choose a Different Path and Make Progress?
This study group is postponed and Steph Carlton's next study group will occur on 11/17.
When it comes to debate, what needs to be different in future approaches vs what is occurring today? How can leaders create allies on the opposing side? How might the answer differ for elected officials, philanthropy, members of the media, or think tank experts?
Study group challenge: Study group members can volunteer to role play the opposing side of an issue they are passionate about, exploring arguments and facts that support the opposing position, as well as the set of personal values that might support the opposing position. In the debrief, study group member can offer constructive feedback on what surprised them from the role play and what both sides of the issue might have in common.
You must register through this form and a limited number of seats will be allocated for in-person participation. We will notify you at noon the day of the study group via your Harvard email whether you will be joining in-person or via Zoom.
