UPDATE (February 13, 2024, 10:45am ET): This study group will be postponed.

From the victory of Argentina's radical libertarian, Javier Milei, to Petro's agenda as the first-ever left-wing president in Colombia and new elections in Mexico, we will shed light on the complex political transformations sweeping through Latin America.

In this session, we will have a unique opportunity to hold an off-the-record conversation with Former Senator and Mayor in Colombia, Claudia Lopez, about political campaigns in Latam and the critical drivers to earning and restoring trust from citizens.

GUEST: Mayor Claudia Lopez, former Senator of the Republic of Colombia and former Mayor of Bogota, will join Resident Fellow, Minister Erika Mouynes, virtually for the February 13 session.

AUDIENCE: These conversations are open to members of the Harvard community. Please RSVP with a valid Harvard email address.

OFF-THE-RECORD: In keeping with our long tradition at the IOP to ensure honest and candid discussions of politics, all IOP study groups are off-the-record.
