Andrew will speak about his experience as working as a Research Associate for Global Economics at the Council on Foreign Relations and as the Co-Founder of The Yappie in an off-the-record career conversation over dinner.
About Andrew Huang
Andrew Huang is Research Associate for Global Economics at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), where he studies trade, industrial policy, and economic statecraft. Previously, he was Special Assistant for Research to CFR’s President, former U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman. Andrew received an A.B. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard and an M.Phil. in international development from the University of Cambridge. He has also previously interned at the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the Center for Strategic and International Studies and in his free time, co-founded The Yappie, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news site covering Asian American and Pacific Islander politics and policy.
