IOP Resident Fellow Aimee Guidera brings decades of experience from the front lines of education policy, having served as Virginia's Secretary of Education and led state-level efforts to raise academic expectations and restore excellence. Her deep experience spans government, policy development, and education systems-making her uniquely positioned to offer insights into how decisions actually get made.

During these office hours, you will experience:

  • High-energy discussions on education policy, technology, and reform
  • Direct access to ask about her experience in the room where it happens. Career advice or anything you want to chat about!
  • Encouraging dialogue that challenges assumptions and sparks ideas

Meeting Schedule

Lunch Office Hours will take place at rotating upperclassmen dining halls on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30pm-1:30pm. Drop-in anytime!
