Join MEI Faculty Chair and Ford Foundation Professor of Democracy and Governance Tarek Masoud, Former Ambassador to Israel and Syria and Former Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Edward P. Djerejian, Raymond Frankel Chair in Israeli Politics and Society at Brandeis University Professor Shai Feldman, and Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland Shibley Telhami for a discussion about the recent compounding tragedies facing the Israeli and Palestinian peoples, the historical and recent factors that led to this escalation in the conflict, and the broader geopolitical implications.
