COVID-19 exposed long-standing weaknesses on both global and domestic fronts. The global commons are chronically under-resourced. And inequalities in education and job markets are growing challenges, in both advanced and developing nations.

Join us on for the 2021 Gordon Lecture featuring HKS alumnus and Senior Minister of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam MPA 1989, who chaired the G20 Eminent Persons Group on Global Financial Governance. He will discuss how we can achieve a more effective interplay of cooperative internationalism and national strategies to secure a safer and more inclusive world. Harvard Kennedy School Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy Dani Rodrik will serve as moderator.
