Luna is currently serving her second term as the Representative for Florida’s Thirteenth Congressional District. She serves on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee. She is also the Chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.

About Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is currently serving her second term as the Representative for Florida’s Thirteenth Congressional District. She serves on the Oversight and Government Reform committee along with the Foreign Affairs committee. She is also the Chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.
Rep. Luna is the first Mexican-American woman elected to the United States Congress to represent Florida. Raised by a single mother in Southern California, Anna’s tough upbringing taught her the importance of hard work and grit.
Anna joined the military as a young adult. She would go on to graduate from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology. While serving in the United States Air Force, Anna met her husband, Andy—who earned a bronze star and purple heart while fighting against terrorists in Afghanistan.
Anna believes that the Washington swamp’s “business as usual” attitude has ruined the lives of everyday Americans, who have been failed by decades of leadership that didn’t value them for anything more than their votes. In Congress, Anna is committed to always fighting against the elitist political establishment that has, for far too long, ignored the interests and needs of the American people.
In 2023, she was named as one of Time’s next 100 most influential people in the world.
Congresswoman Luna resides in St. Petersburg, with her husband Andy.
