Join us for a powerful discussion as Gwen Carr, mother of Eric Garner, and Selwyn Jones, uncle of George Floyd, share their experiences and insights on transforming personal loss into impactful advocacy for social change. The conversation will be moderated by Sandra Susan Smith, Daniel & Florence Guggenheim Professor of Criminal Justice, Director of the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy, and Faculty Chair of the Program on Criminal Justice Policy and Management. The event will begin with an introduction by Brad Bailey, filmmaker and Harvard GSE student.
