About Sophia Bush
Sophia Bush is an American actress widely recognized for her leading roles as Brooke Davis on the drama series One Tree Hill (2003–2012) and Detective Erin Lindsay on the police procedural Chicago P.D. (2014–2017). Beyond her work in Hollywood, she is a prominent and vocal activist dedicated to women's empowerment, environmental causes, and voting rights. Bush co-founded the nonpartisan organization "I am a voter®" and is an influential voice for social change, leveraging her platform to advocate for various philanthropic endeavors. She channels her activism through media, hosting the impactful Work in Progress podcast and serving as a general partner in a women-owned venture capital firm. In a recent personal essay, she shared her journey of coming out as queer, reinforcing her commitment to living authentically and championing visibility for the LGBTQ+ community.
