Description
The 2025 Gustav Pollak Lecture will feature Leo Varadkar, 14th Taoiseach of Ireland. Varadkar previously served in cabinet positions for 13 years in the Ministries of Transport, Tourism & Sport, Enterprise, Trade, Employment, Social Protection and Health. As Taoiseach, Varadkar increased Ireland's investment in international development and expanded its diplomatic footprint; navigated Brexit to maintain Ireland's place in the European Union; upheld the Good Friday Agreement; and led Ireland’s public health and economic responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
